Somewhere Over The Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole
This homepage is dedicated to my never forgotten four legged family members on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Memories of dogs which are as much missed as on the first day which I will forever carry in my heart ......
A dog's life does not end with the death, it only ends with the end of love to it
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Bridge of the Rainbow because of its many colors. On this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved animal has passed, it goes to this beautiful place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again, those who were hurt are strong again. The animals are happy and content, except for one thing they are missing: they are not with their special person who loved them so much on Earth.
So each day they run and play until the day comes when suddenly one stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches, the ears go up, the bright eyes are intent! All of a sudden this one runs from the group, flying over the green grass. Its legs are carrying it faster and faster. You have been spotted. And when you and your special friend finally meet, you take him or her into your arms and hold him or her tightly. Your face is kissed, again and again, and finally you look into the eyes of your beloved animal, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated. .....
